Xenostorm is funded by benefactors. You will always be able to play for free, but benefactors keep the game going. When the benefaction count reaches the next target, a new lock will be added.

 

As well as funding extra levels benefactors have special benefits. Starting with the new level when we get 1,000 benefactions, there will be a prize of $500 for a randomly drawn benefactor each time a new level is added. Once you are a benefactor you are entered into every draw, for ever. The more benefactions you contribute, the more entries you get into each draw.

 

Benefactors can also contribute new puzzles to Xenostorm. If your puzzle is accepted, you will receive $100 when the puzzle goes live, plus a share of $100 for each subsequent new level for ever. See the Writing a puzzle section for details. Benefactors can optionally receive an email update whenever a new level is added and will get further benefits in the future.

 

A benefactor can provide as many benefactions as they like. Each counts as a separate entry in the prize draw. SPECIAL BONUS for early benefactors - get even more draw entries! Each of the first 20 benefactions will receive five entries per benefaction. The next 30 will get three entries per benefaction, and the next 50 will get two entries per benefaction.  To be a benefactor, choose if you want to be on the mailing list and click on the US dollar or UK pound benefaction button.
